Privacy Policy. Data protection is an important part of a website. This template contains sample text and may not be published. The content of your privacy policy depends on the features you use on your site. It is important to personalize your text. Your privacy policy should list all of the external components that you use on your site. The link to your privacy policy should appear on all pages of your site.

Sites that use personal data must include the following information:

• Contact details of the organization's data protection officer (DPO or DPD), if appointed, or of a contact point on personal data protection issues

• Purpose of the processing for which the data are intended

• Compulsory or optional nature of the responses and possible consequences with regard to the Internet user of a lack of response

• Recipients or categories of recipients of the data

• Rights of opposition, interrogation, access and rectification

• If necessary, planned transfers of personal data to a State outside the European Union

• Legal basis for data processing (i.e. what legally authorizes the processing: this may be the consent of the data subjects, compliance with an obligation provided for by a text, the execution of a contract in particular)

• Right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL
